Title: Having trouble with IPAC - Left P1 buttons 1 and 2
Post by: pmilnes on November 09, 2008, 03:05:54 pm
Hi there,

I need an little help.

On my IPAC, the player 1 left buttons 1 and 2 are a little troublesome:

Sometimes the left p1 button stays in the down position.  When it does this, it releases when I press it again.

Also, the left player p2 button only is pressed every OTHER time I press the button.

When I am in the test mode on the WinIPAC Interactive Panel Designer, and I press these buttons, it sometimes accesses the 'file' menu on the program, and sometimes clicks on the 'Start' menu.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

It sounds to me like you have Sticky Keys enabled. Do you hear beeps after pressing it several times? Turn it off via Control Panel -> Accessability options.

The P2 button is most likely assigned to Alt, which is why you see the focus shift to the file menu.

Try re-programming the keys to letters and see if all your problems go away.
