I picked up 2 of these awesome NES pads converted to 7800 controllers from doubledown on Atari Age around X-Mas time 2007. I never was a big 7800 fan, and space constraints after getting married are forcing me to get rid of some systems. The 7800 is going, so these are going too.
See http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=117737 for the original thread. These sold out in Feb 2008.
I'm clueless when it comes to value of these...do they appreciate? Do they depreciate?
I'll throw out a price and accept offers for about a week & see where the dust settles.
Starting at $50 each + $5 shipping each. Offer lower or higher, as you see fit.
Both tested working. One used for maybe 1 minute, the other used for maybe 20 minutes.
Still in original boxes, including original "baggies" & 1's cord is still in its original rubber bands even. 1 box has a little tear on the insert & plastic.

I would probably say they are just as weird and rare as they were when you bought them. Controller hacks are awesome!!
