There's no "any" key.

Seriously though you have missed key 2, which is 2 player game start.

also you are going to get sick of the hack.  you'll want to get an encoder or do a gamepad hack.

As u see above i have show u the encoder and i have mapped the keys so all i have to do is solder from the buttons onto the encoder board :)

I got a older keyboard (IBM keyboard from a old 486 the ps/2 cable attaches to the socket)

so all i need to do is make sure i havent missed anything :)

No, I meant a keyboard hack will flake out once and awhile, even single player.  A $5 gamepad hack might be better in the long run.

You don't use "2" just for 2 player games, you also use it for say PacMan when you are playing someone else ( as in player 1 has their go and then player 2 has their go ). If you don't do it you will only be playing with yourself LOL

Don't forget that you can use shift buttons to make normal buttons do double duty.

My Artic Mini Mame only has 4 buttons total (Player 1 start, player 2 start, button 1 and button 2), but can still do everything because of shift keys.
