C'mon guys help me out here please. :notworthy:
Hi, yall, I gotta get humble here and ask for your help, so here goes.
Last months storm put our family way behind.
We lost a couple hundred dollars of food, power was out for 6 days...no insurance to replace it and the food pantries in our city are empty.
My son and I are both on disability and are having trouble meeting bills, utilities were cut off yesterday.
Now they want a $240 deposit in addition to the reconnect fees of $75 AND the past due bill paid.
I paid the past due and got the lights turned back on but need to raise money for the deposit, so some of my toys gotta go.
Family comes first, always.
Help me out here if you can, don't want a handout, just a hand-up. ;D

I had a 40 gig HD installed w/ WINXP/WIN98 dual boot. I'll leave the games I installed on it. Also I couldn't get the onboard audio to work so I bought a USB sound card from Newegg, about $18, I'll include it in the deal.
Ready to play, I can ship Monday if your Paypal clears by then.
No lowballing on this one please, I sold them for $100 without HD and OS here so this is a good value.
See Pics Below
I also have a modded Sega Saturn, Goldstar 3DO and other vintage systems, games and accessories available, feel free to make reasonable offers or send me a wish list and I'll look around and see what I got packed away.
Here's hoping the sh*t fairy stays away from our door, my umbrella's broke!
Thanks in advance for your help, Ron AKA ARCADIAC!

Im interested in Saturn games (mine isnt moddem but I have the AR to play imports) and if you have some games for the 3DO I'd be interested in that too.
the PC maybe, but I need to see more/better pictures of the whole thing, case and all. You said the games come with it, do you have the games on a CD/DVD incase I wanna redo the OS?

Pic of the bottom/back side of this PC.
The whole rig is only 12" wide by 10 1/4" tall by 4" deep so building a frame/cab or whatever for it should be very easy.
I was gonna use a 30" tall media bookcase w/ the top front cut at an angle for a base and go from there.
Thanks, Ron

are these a all in one system and if so can the processor be upgraded?

PM sent

facesmiths they are the all-in-one systems, I have already upgraded the memory from 128 to 256, but I don't know anything about upgrading the processor, I only loosened the case enough to access the memory stick.
I hate giving this one up, my son and I love Hammerheads on it!
Thanks! Ron

Hello,
Did you ask your insurance agent about food spoilage coverage?
I have a 1% deductible on my policy. I lost all my refrigerated food in Hurricane Ike, but my insurance agent told me to file a claim, because it turns out that there is a zero deductible policy for food spoilage on my policy, they pay x amount per day per person without receipts. So I was able to replace my food with minimal loss.
If I had not called my insurance agent just to check in, I would have never found out about the food spoilage coverage. Somewhat embarrassing that I didn't read the fine print, except for the 1% deductible part.
Also, have you applied for FEMA assistance? It can't hurt. I applied even though I don't need anything. Maybe I'll get a gift card or something to make up for the week+ without power.
Good luck to you!

Thanks for the suggestions. Alas, no renter's insurance, can't afford it.
And strangely enough, So. Indiana got FEMA help but KY didn't qualify, weird Huh?
Kinda fell thru the cracks on this one.
But you gotta know we're grateful that things weren't worse, two lives were lost in our area, and one was a utility worker from out of state here for repairs.
So all in all a setback but not one that we couldn't overcome with some help from others.
Thanks again! Ron
