Title: Who wants a free cabinet?
Post by: Apollo on June 16, 2003, 08:31:38 pm
I have one cabinet, sanded and primed. Smoked glass bezel, duel coin mechanism and perspex marquee to give away. You have to pick it up though. It is a jamma cab set up to take either vertical or horizontal 19" monitor.

Unfortunately for many of you you have to pick it up in Hamilton, New Zealand.
If you want to give me anything in return then feel free ( a four way joystick would be handy but don't worry if you have nothing to trade you can still have the cab )

Come and get it.

Airfare $3000
Cargo costs $2800
Getting a free cabinet:  PRICELESS

LMAO!

Imagine what it's like for us over here trying to get parts to build our MAME machines. It's a nightmare! Once you add overseas shipping it's expensive to. Also there doesn't seem to be much of a MAME community over here so trading is tricky as well.
Oh well the pioneer spirit still lives on.

KOALAS!!!!!! Are freakin Australian dude LOL.

Yeah we had arcades full of Defenders and Dragons Lairs. I think they are all sitting in a warehouse somewhere waiting to be discovered. I wish I knew where though. I haven't seen a single "classic" dedicated machine anywhere in New Zealand for a looooooooong time.

My wish list

Space Invaders, Scramble, Joust, Defender, Galaga, Galaxian, PacMan, Donkey Kong & Donkey Kong Jnr. That will do for now, probably set my back about NZ$15000. I would be in heaven!
