Title: Screwed! Need Purity Rings.

DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN! I found a source for a yoke for my WG 19" medium resolution monitor, but the purity ring plastic broke when he tried to remove the yoke/rings. So I go out to my tube and do my best to pull the damn rings off without breaking anything. HAHAHAHA...yah right. The whole damn ring unit broke in to about a dozen pieces.

I am SCREWED...

(A) Anyone know if I need rings for this specific tube model number or will any set do? Am I going to need a "medium res" set of rings for this "medium res" monitor?

(B) Anyone have a set of purity rings off a medium resolution tube?? CHRIS?

Bah!  This is for the A.P.B...and if I don't get `er runnin' she gets parted out angering the Arcade Gods even more!

Before you worry too much, the purity/ convergence ring assembly is only there to correct manufacturing tolerances in the tube and yoke combination.

bottom line remove the entire assemmbly and position the yoke, you may not need them??

This assumes you know how to set-up purity and convergence.
