Sorry i satart ed a new topic but i couldn't modify the old one, anyway , I'm having a problem trying to set my nvidia card to work for an arcade monitor, i installed soft15kHz and it seems to work, i can see the desktop image stable on my monitor but it displays a whole bunch of invisible lines from bottom to top. (will post pics today) I know its not the monitor since other PC and regular jamma game works fine.
I was reading in the advancemame page that nvidia cuadro4 xgl700 cards don't support interlaced modes, so i was wondering if the effect i get might be caused because of that.
I don't have an idea on how interlaced modes can affect in arcade resolutions.
Ill post pics today
Thanks for the help.

pick a different resolution
its on 640x480 what do you think will work?

Try 640x240 to see if it is a Interlace issue.

i did and it didnt work, i guess the card does not support 15khz, i bought a cheap nvidia fx5500 and it work nice, one thing i notice it only does 800x600 15khz so i wonder how do i force soft15khz into a 640x480 15khz or other resolution, i know i can make a text document with the resolutions i want, but dont have an idea on how to name this document or where to put it, any ideas? thanks for the help.

Err... QuickRes should help.
You don't need any custom resolutions (custom15khz.txt)
