Hi I am wondering what the proper name for these type push buttons are:

I am looking to buy some does anyone here stock these type of buttons or know of a place that has good deals on them?

Those are often referred to as "tactile switches". Panasonic makes a huge line of them. If you want a large selection, Digi-Key and Mouser stock lots of options, or you can often find deals at various electronics surplus sellers.

Thanks I will check them out.
I checked them both out and without pictures and thousands of similair results and descriptions there to un-orginaized to know what is going on with the search results for me lol.
I Remember now that I have been to them place's prior and would order from them all the time but there search setup stinks and it's goofy to tell if your actually getting the right part or not with no pictures.

you just need to klic on the specs pages for each then you get those wonderful blueprint looking cad images most of the time and sometimes a long list of "this button has these sizes for a b c d and e and this button has these sizes for..."
but in the end if you are diligent and really want them you know what you are getting into. most of that stuff is in three cats really low profiles *button barely sticks out of the metal casing
really high profile *button sticks waaaaay out of the metal houseing
and a 90 degree mounting of either one.
other than that there are slight variances on what power they handle but most are DC and will work for the same applications.
I just pull them from VCR and older inkjet printers. so I ended up with a whole box full of them.
