I'm wondering if the schematic below would actually work or result in something exploding. It has the flourescent lights and a computer PSU running in parallel off a single wire into the wall.
I know the PC PSU would need to either be attached to a MB and have that turned on, or rigged to always be on. There's also the option of using another type of power supply to supply the DC power to the LEDs, but the main thing is I'd like all the lights to be on one switch, and the PC on another switch, if possible.

The only issue I see is that when you turn on the lights the PSU goes on and if the switch is off everything loses power so the PSU depends on power from the switch which is also needed to turn on the lights.
You would have to add another switch for the PSU so the lights and PSU will work independently of each other. This is if I understand your post correctly you want to control the lights turn on & off at any time and you want to turn the PSU or Led's on and off at any time.

Sorry, my post was confusing.
The PSU in the image would be the PSU supplying DC power to the LEDs and other related lights (if not wired to a LEDWiz or something similar).
There would be another PSU for the PC if I were to have the lights and the computer on two totally seperate switches.
