So i have tried to install the arcade vga card today in my PC. I followed the directions and my screen looks like its flickering or moving. I have tried everything and I am frankly just frustarted. Someone please help me out. I have the card currently hooked up to my computer monitor, because if I hook it up to the arcade monitor I cannot read anything that comes up.

install the resolution driver program that came on the ultimark cd, but make sure 1st you uninstall all the video drivers already on your system using the uninstall prog on ati site, then reinstall drivers from ultimarc cd.
then change your resolution to lower, thats what i did, still get a bit of flickering as its interlaced

If you are still stuck drop me an email on andy@ultimarc.com
Standard res arcade monitors cannot display more than approx 288 lines so this is the reason for the interlacing on resolutions above 288 (hence flicker). Its a monitor limitation. But lower resolutions, for gaming, should be fine.

Also make sure you are plugging the monitor into the VGA port of the card and not the DVI port as this might not give you a picture.

Thanks Andy. Andy is the best he guided me through the install. It was a combination of a few things.

Perchance you might share them?

the install for the driver needed to be forced, and after going to the dvice mgr ultimarc is not listed so we picked the microsoft driver in the list and installed it from the disk provided. It was a little backwards but worked.
