Title: Weirdst Place to Find a Game
Post by: SithMaster on October 14, 2008, 01:00:44 am
So I stopped by Wendy's today and I found the weirdst setup.  They had a jukebox, a nicktoons sitdown racing cab, and a crane game.  The jukebox had songs I liked on it and they had it running instead of muzac.  It would have been better if the racer was house of the dead though.

This might be a local change or it could be nation wide.  Just thought I'd share.

There are a couple games at a Papa Gino's by my house.

Strangest place for a game I've seen by far is in the loading dock stairwell of an ocean liner.  Appropriately, it was Satan's Hollow.

That was the one with the low ambient lighting making the game look menacing right?

This is like the time I found air hockey and N64 games in a Mcdonald's.  I hope they switch out the nicktoons for a better game.

A few games in a McDonald's isn't so uncommon when the McDonald's is on a major highway.

At my house. At least according to wifes friends and my co-workers that come over for the first time and see arcade games in 2 rooms and the garage.

The reaction cracks me up every time because it's either "You're A God" or "You're A Weirdo".  ;D

The employee break room in a Home Depot. (Truxel #6649 IIRC)

In the laundry room for a private apartment complex (no longer there).

At a local Thousand Trails camp site. They had six or so in the main lodge and two more in a "relaxing lodge" so far from the main camp site that you needed either a 4x4, hiking boots or a mountain bike to get there. The same place also had a playground near a bluff. Both were removed when the property was sold.
