Title: How connect JAMMA-RGB signal to computer monitor ?

I have searched the Internet for answers on my question but not found any. So now I try to put it up here and see if someone has found a solution for my problem.
I am going to build me a few wall hanging arcade cabinets. I intend to make them small with a minimum depth and weight. The monitors might be rotatable (have not decided yet). They are all going to be JAMMA-standard but with different hardware:
-   PCB
-   NEO-GEO (MVS)
-   PC Mame
-   And some more systems

To get a small depth and low weight I intend to use TFT computer monitors. The computer monitors come with one or more connections:
-   Analog  VGA PC
-   DVI
-   RF
-   S-Video

To connect a PC with Mame to a computer monitor is straight forward.
Most questions answered in the Internet how to connect RGB in home build arcade cabinets are for PC -> arcade monitors (VGA to RGB).
But my main question is:
-   How do I connect JAMM-RGB to a regular computer monitor?
                (With good results and without being to expensive)


If I am forced to use CRT monitors instead it will make my wall hanged cabinets to large. I will probably then build regular upright cabinets (standing on the floor).
But it seems to be no one close to where I live that sells CRT arcade monitors. And they are really heavy so the shipping would probably be too high. I then read that some builders use regular CRT: s from television sets. 

A regular TV often uses RF or scart connections. The convert the JAMMA RGB to an RF signal would not give a good picture. So now for my last questions:
-   Can the JAMMA RGB be connected to the televisions scart with good results?
-   An arcade CRT, is that not a standard television CRT?
-    Could I use just the CRT from a used television set and buy the rest from somewhere?
                If so, what could I keep from the television and what would I need to buy? Also, what would I need to know about the CRT to order
                the right kind of chassis?

Buy the ACV-011 video signal adapter. It converts arcade CGA video & sync signals into VGA computer video & sync. Here's the link if you want to buy it:

Thanks Ken for the link.
I googled and found one price for the ACV-011, $99, it seems to be a bit expensive. Not to much if I just need one, but I might need e few more. They give discount when buying more then 2.

Wish I could find another type of converter for about $50 or less.

Anyway I might just give this one a try.

If you can find the schematics...  You may be able to build your self a few at a much more reasonable cost.  Although it may not be as robust with features (Multiple format / output, gain adjustments etc...), but im sure it will do the job.
