Hi guys. Can anyone recommend a good PC speedup/problem finder program. Freewere would be best but I'd pay for one if i knew it would work. Thanks

The best one is your windows cd....reformat and reinstall ;D

Free:
The problem is the user.
Solution:
Wipe drive clean, re-install OS.

Are you having a specific problem?
What OS are you using?
There are a few obvious things you can (for XP for example) do such as:
1)turn off system restore.
2)defrag your hard drives.
3)turn of all unnecessary services (per black viper or other)
4)turn off indexing on drives and service.
5) run spybot (free)
6)run a full virus scan (free avg 7.5 or antivir are free and not too bad)
7)ctrl-alt-del and check all processes running - check them against a reliable startup program database (plenty of sites on net)- disable all unnecessary.
8)check for things that are set to run automatically on bootup - disable in software settings or services - if they're not needed running in background all the time. if no option or service to disable, goto start>run> type msconfig and disable from there.
9) run a decent firewall
10) fdisk/format/reinstall OS anyway

Probably wouldn't hurt to clean the registry with something like regcleaner/Regsupreme or Ccleaner will probably do that and more.
You can tweak a few things in tweakui/tweakxp that might help a little.
If you're not worried about eye candy, goto control panel/system/advanced/ select adjust for best performance.
Heh, there's about a million things you can do to help speed things up a bit - mostly shutting off the superfluous services.
You did ask about problem finder software - if you post specific problems, someone may be able to post specific solutions.
Good luck!

Thanks guys, I currently use mcafee, superantispyware and webroot's window washer along with spybot.
The problem is that damn adyeildmaneger bug. It comes up on ebay, and alot of other sites too.
I have searched google and tried suggestions but haven't been able to fix it. It also seems my computer is just really slow lately. Thanks

If it all of the sudden started going extremely slow, then you might want to check the cpu and case fans. Sometimes when computers overheat they run extremely slow instead of shutting down.

Sell your PC and buy a MAC.
Problem solved...until you use boot camp......
