Title: Free Halloween CD
Post by: BrentRadio on October 07, 2008, 01:45:10 pm
It's that time of year again, Halloween! My favorite holiday.

Some of you already have this, but I just wanted to make it available to the "NEW" guys.

Anyway, I made a 46 minute Halloween Track to play at your party, haunted house, or haunted arcade. Just save the file and burn your own CD to play. Distribute as you see fit!

Enjoy and Happy Halloween!

Thanks BrentRadio.

I run a big haunted house review and listing site for the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  I know many haunted house owners that might be interested in this.  I'll have to repost this on my site, would you mind if I re-hosted it?

I'm a huge horror fan, but I've never liked haunted houses. If I can just walk through and look at some messed up stuff, that's great, but I don't like strangers grabbing me.

I played Freddy Krueger in a haunted house once and when I jumped over the couch I was hiding behind, three high school football players proceeded to pick me up and tossed me back over it!  :laugh2:

The Jayzee's club puts on a kick-ass haunted house here, but over the years they have initiated a 'no touch' policy for just that reason. Some people naturally lash out when scared and touched.

The link above is of a Series of Haunted Stuff my Friends Craig, Garrett and I produced.

It is done really well.  We did a ton of work on it.

I had to play the ghost in both episodes.  Watch the Vault one first.  It is the better of the two.

Let me know what ya think

Brent

P.S.  Brent thanks for posting the audio of the Halloween. I am going to Download it when I get home and burn a CD for my daughter, Nephew and Neice.  Great stuff thanks.  I figure I post my Halloween contribution as well.

I saw the Hangman's place on the Travel Channel the other day.

Hows that one really stack up (I don't see it under your reviews)?

Hmm, we just went to Hangman's on Friday evening.  We normally post previous weekends reviews on Wednesday, so my other half is writing it right now.  But to answer your question... Hangman's was OK.  It wasn't great and it wasn't bad...  Normally they have a really good theme, but this year was simply "20 years of fear".  I was thinking they would have setup their favorite scenes throughout the past 20 years and shown what year that scene was in, but this wasn't the case.  The haunt just felt like it was just tossed together quickly and the theme really didn't seem to flow like years past.  Actors are mediocre at best, several just stood there and did nothing at all and others simply jumped and stomped their feet.  I think we gave it an overall score of 8 out of a 10.  I personally gave it a 7, but the rest of my groups ratings brought that score up.

Hangman's seems to get a lot of publicity, but I think it is because it has been around for a long time...  There are other much much much better haunted houses in the area.

Sorry, it is a vbulletin based site and I was getting a lot of spammers.... So, I restricted any countries from viewing the site outside of the USA.  Since it is a local site I never thought that there would be a legit reason for anyone to get to my site from anywhere outside....  I didn't think about that when I posted the link.  Sorry.

If anyone can host this for me, please send me a link and I will add it to my page. My bandwidth is getting sucked up pretty quick! Didn't realize how popular it would be!

Thanks

You should just make a torrent of it.

Yeah, I'm not going to be able to re-host it.  During this time of the year my bandwidth usage skyrockets.  I see what I can do about finding a free host for it.

Ah .. right.

No problem, thought there may have been some issue with it.

Managed to view it through a proxy server though ...

Shame its only locked to the US though, there is lots of information on the site that visitors to the US may have liked to get details for.

Finally downloaded and checked it out (skipped through it real quick).

Nice collection of audio tidbits, though it's missing Goblin. A little of their music from Dawn of the Dead or Suspiria would've been awesome.

Most of the clips I didn't even know which movies they were from. I just downloaded them from Halloween sites and spliced them together.

Yep I made it myself. I searched the web for Halloween type sounds and came across several sites that had lots of sound bites and stuff. I just layered the wind sound in the background using Sonar sound program and randomly put the sounds on top of that. I tried to only use each soundbite once.
