Title: help with a RI-1 rowe jukebox

I have a rowe RI-1 and when you push a record sel/ like a-1 they stay in and the
mem/unit in the box just keeps spinning and does not kick out a pin to sel/a record
or stop

Do you thank the coil is bad

Probably a bad relay contact on the keyboard assembly.

I thank your right Ken , I got the lid open  and ever thing look read dirty in there.

What should I use to clean up ever thing up in there on the key borad Sw and the

points on relay. I know wd 40 is a no no.

Go to the auto parts store and buy an automobile ignition points file. You'll use that to file the tarnished/pitted/burned contacts on the open frame relay blade (leaf) switches on the keyboard tray assembly. To properly adjust the switch blade gap, you'll need a switch blade adjuster from a pinball machine parts supplier like www.pbresource.com

Naturally you do this with the power off (machine unplugged from the wall outlet).
