iRiver just released the new UMS version for iFP-series
Many major Bugs from 1..0b were resolved
1. Couldn't select the first file of VOICE or TUNER folder
2. Recorded file caused errors (Strange folder is created or recorded file is corrupted.)
3. Doesn't sound with Metal EQ and Xtreme EQ.
4. Displayed broken images on the menu.
5. Displays "+" even the folder has no subfolders.
How to change from 1.0b to 1.0c
1. Please download the right firmware again from DOWNLOAD section.
2. Back up your data.
3. Format with "FAT" as the file system and "Quick Format".
4. Copy the firmware file (xxxxxx.hex) to the root folder of the Removable disk (your iFP player) on your PC.
5. After firmware upgrade, format with "FAT" as the file system and "Quick Format".
