Okay, I've now got into my new computer and I'm deleting all the tat from it - I don't want to uninstall Windows 2K unless I have to - I'm just wondering whether anyone can point me in the direction of some good sites that have tutorials on what I've pretty much done on my XP machine...
Hiding Windows
Speeding up the computer/services
Shelling a frontend so thats the first thing you see on start yp
Any advice on these topics will be gratefully received! Cheers!

It can be done and its very similar to how you do it in XP. Probably simpler in some aspects. There used to be a site that specifically showed you how to shell W2k but I don't think it's around anymore.
Follow the sites on how to do it for XP and you should be okay. The main difference is how you replace the boot screen. For W2K you will need to create a 16 color 640x480 bitmap and manually replace the bootscreen using Resource Hacker.
If you have some questions when you are doing it, I can try to answer them.

I posted too soon. I just found the site, it's http://www.littlewhitedog.com/content-9.html (http://www.littlewhitedog.com/content-9.html).

Cheers for that - I'll give it a look when I find a few minutes!
Much appreciated!
If anyone else can give me some good advice that would be fantastic! I think most people seem to have opted for XP...
