Title: Connector Cable...matching the wires?
Post by: SnotRockit on October 02, 2008, 11:20:57 pm
One other thing, when I purchased my new chassis I received a connector cable. It has the following coloured wires coming from the plug...

CONNECTOR CABLE                 from Game PCB Plug...
pin 1 - red                                       red
pin 2 - green                                   green
pin 3 - blue                                      blue
pin 4 - black
pin 5 - yellow                                   brown
pin 6 - white                                    black

I figure the red, green, and blue match up...but what do the brown and black wires (on the PCB game plug) represent and which wires should I connect to them? (see pictures).

Since it is a data connector cable, will it hurt it if I experiment with the different combos between the remaining wires? (eg. black to black and yellow to brown, white to brown and black to black, etc.)

Any assistance is GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.

P.S.  It's a G07 going into a KLAX machine. Do they share the same composite sync?
