Hello everyone,
Im using Mamewah version 1.63.
I adjusted my mame.ini file so that is searches my snapshot directory, I also downloaded AND registered the system files available on the Mamewah site, and still Mamewah does not show my snapshots.
They are in C:\mame\snap as I put in my mame.ini file.
Example C:\mame\snap\mk2\0000.png.
Nothing works.
Hope you can help me.
Thanks

It's been a while since I've used Mamewah but I think each snap must have the exact same name as the rom. For example, if the rom is mk.zip, then the snap should be mk.png. I could be wrong however as I'm at work and going from memory.

Have you checked the layout in Layout Designer to make sure the snaps are being called on in the first place?
Art 1, 2, 3, 4, etc are the order in which you have the folders listed in the artwork path, separated by semi-colons, no spaces.

I tried renaming the .png to the name of the game.
Example: Changed 0000.png in de MK2 directory to mk2.png
It doesnt work.
About the layoutdesigner I don't have alot of knowledge about that. I can say when I open de layout designer I see Artwork #1 where the snapshot should be. And when I click Display options, then click main form, I see a list who looks like this?.
V Artwork #1
Artwork #2
Artwork #3
etc...

There shouldn't be directories in your snaps directory. It should just have files and they should be named the same as the game.

Ah it worked.
Thanks Ginsu Victim, indeed there shoud not be any directory's, its weird. When I take a snapshot during gameplay it makes a directory in mame/snap. But when i copy the .png file to the snap directory en rename it to the rom name it works.
C:\mame\snap\mk2.png
Thank you all!!!
