I have an older CH Fighterstick with a 15 pin connector. I've heard the usb adapters don't work consistently so I'd like to get a game port card (PCI). I know that there's cheap soundcards out there that have game ports but to keep things simple I'd like the game port only. I'll go the sound card route as a lat resort.
So, if anyone has one of these laying around...
Thanks!

I think I may have some in a box in the garage I will check to see if I have them still.

Great! Lemme know.

I found the box with other pci cards in it but the one or two that I was thinking of were not there and I have no clue what happened to them sorry.

Thanks for checking. So, I guess that means I'm...
Still looking! :)

Hey! Funny story...
I posted in another thread offering a SCSI card to someone and while looking for it, I came accross an old SB Live! card with a game port. Guess I'll just use that.
Thanks for the offer,
Steve
Hmmm... this was supposed to be my pm to nullboy and it ended up here. :-\

well, if anyone else needs one lol

That's good, Steve. No reason to be afraid of it being a sound card, too. Takes up the same space.

I was trying to avoid any conflicts between the card and the onboard sound. I'll get it working. I get the joystick tomorrow so we'll see how it goes.

let me know if you have problems with that one and u can have this cheap
i dont need it ;)

Any reason you wouldn't want to use the SB instead of the onboard sound? It's almost definitely better then the onboard sound and you can disable the onboard via the BIOS easily.
