Well currently what I'm using to power my monitor is a standard 3-prong plug which I manually plug in and out to turn the monitor on, because right now im really testing various stuff out, however how do i connect my monitors power source directly to my power supply ? What wire is what Sorry if this sounds basic this is my first NON MAME / Dedicated JAMMA conversion build but Id like to be able to just flip my switch on my cab and have the game and the monitor both come on together.
On my powersupply the only things That I have altered was the ground, 5+v, and 12v+ from my jamma harness the AC/N and AC/L was already being plugged in.
This is a picture of my power supply :

Another picture of where the AC/N and AC/L are currently connected to:

And this is my power cord running from my monitor to a molex, which then is connected to a regular 3 prong which i have been plugging in to an outlet manually to test / functionality of the game.

You'll have to do some basic AC wiring. Here's a picture.

Assuming your power supply currently turns on/off with the cabinet switch.....
I'd bet one of those 120v plugs where the power supply is currently plugged into would work. But you would need to double check which ones are switched on/off with your cabinet switch.
Is the three pronged plug you currently have on your monitor going directly to the monitor?
(no isolation transformer I'm assuming)

It's a brand new happ monitor with no iso required, i just wanted to know where i plug it into , Yes when I flip my switch it powers on / game runs etc. I just don't want to manually need to be plugging in the monitor, id like to flip that switch and have the monitor come on along with the game

Just hook the ac wires to the ac connection on your power supply.

AC/L and AC/N are already plugged into a power block, on the power block i have one free molex type connection says 120v is that what i use ? See my first post for picture discription of where my wires are going

Yes, that is the spot on the power block I was referring to. 120VAC
Right below the one being used by the power supply.
What does the other spot say just above the fuses?
(looks like something AC)

6.3 VAC is what it says.. nothing plugged into that either don't know what that's used for.
The other problem is that where i can disconnect the molexes from the monitor plug which is currently connected to a 3 prong, it certainly won't reach where I need it to plug into that 120 VAC do they sell extenders with molex connections so i don't need to strip any of the wires ? I guess I can always slice the power cord which would give me the length but I would still need a molex and don't know what's involved with connecting them
