beatson pinout,
red-5v
black-gnd
yellow, green, gray, blue x-y ???
using fresh bank,
i connected red to red on u-hid and assigned to power
black i connected to uhid gnd
when i assigned the others and select x for yellow and it made orange and yellow x and the other 2 x reversed or y.
i cant get trackball to do anything on windows, whats wrong
**update, found site that says
x=blue /purple
y=yellow/green
so on uhid i connected orange to green on tb, yellow-yellow, gray to blue on tb, purp to purp.
and assigned pin 9. 10 to y and x is 5,6 ,when i click on 6 and 10 reverse is checked?
trackball goes right/left bur not up down?
and r/l is hit and miss

Is the trackball known to be good?
It possible (but unlikely) that the current consumption of the trackball exceeds the maximum from one pin on the U-HID. You could check the 5 volts is actually 5 using a test meter. If it is less than 5, connect the 5 volt pin on the trackball to one of the direct 5 volt connections on J7.

thanx andy, i connected to j7 and works better, only thing is the trackball goes left and right and up and down,
but the up is down and the down is up, ive tryed mesing with wires but then it does nothing.
confusing??
can i change this in the uhid config or do i need to mess with wires again

You can check (or uncheck) "Reverse" in the configuration.
