I've heard good stuff and bad stuff about these things. As far as I know they are the only viable option for a light gun. What I want to know is this...
Are these things really worth it (because I am a gun game fan)? Also, I've heard 2 guns together is possible but it kinda sucks. How bad does it suck?
I already bought the GS system and it's crap. I feel cheated... What about these things?

u_rebelscum's MAME: Analog+ has beta support for two guns. I have a second gun on order now, so I'll know more in about a week.
I'm quite fond of the gun I have, but accuracy ranges from excellent (Sharpshooter) to awful (Jurassic Park). Are there particular games you want to play? Some work better than others... Fortunately, Sharpshooter is the game of choice around my house...

The new TV-out version has official support for two guns. Ships in a couple days if they remain on schedule.
We'll see then whether it's true (and whether I wasted $40 on a second gun - such is the life of early adopters).

The TV-out version had better be worth it! I've been wait forever for them to ship it. Although I think they moved the shipping date to late july. :(

Well I use a front-mount VGA monitor in my cabinet, not a TV. I know for now the USB gun is my only option, but do you think they will come out with a better system for 2 players? Would I better off waiting?

BTW, I just emailed Act-Labs tech support about whether or not they were working on a two gun system to work with VGA monitors. This is the reply I got in their own words.
AT the moment, we are releasing the Dual TV gun version. We should be releasing the Dual PC gun version later this year.

Well, I just finished trying it out, and two VGA USB guns works perfectly on Windows 98 with MAME: Analog+!
