I'm always on the lookout for that hidden gem that I either forgot or never heard of. I don't have a trackball on this particular cab and it's a one player machine with a U360 and only 3 "action" buttons. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

First up, excellent list very similar to the one I had on my cabinet.
I would add Pooyan, Jump Bug, 10 Yard Fight, Canyon Bomber and Super Basketball and like the previous post said Time Pilot and perhaps Time Pilot II.
It just depends what you like I guess.

If you like the 19xx series, where is 1944! Its the best of those!
And in that categorie Tiger Heli is nice. More quiet than the 19xx series, but hard to master as faults are deadly.
I would like Darius 1. Plus the music is great.
Dark Stalkers for its very weird fighter action
Rampage World Tour (more monkey madness)

I started making 2 "bare minimum" lists, one for vert one for horizontal. My vert has about 120 games on it. I think the horizontal was around 250 when I stopped (I ended up just leaving everything but Majoong on there).
Its early and my brain is foggy, but it appears you're missing more games than you have... Xevious, Yie Ar Kung, Moon Patrol... I see you have some good vert shooters like Don Pachi and Dimahoo on the list, but I think you're missing some.
I'll go through my vert cab game list when I get home if you want.

What no Space Harrier on the list??
-
Yie Ar Kung-Fu
Thunder Blade
-
Shinobi
Rolling Thunder
Wonderboy
-
combat school and BC Story are 2 hidden gems I enjoyed.
Zoo Keeper
Rambo (fun 2 player game with the kids)
-
Popeye, Moon Patrol, Wizard of Wor, and Bosconian.
-
I initially set the cab up as vertical only so that's why I'm missing a ton of great horizontal games. I decided to put everything in one list to avoid confusion. If it gets too big I'll break it up into horizontal and vertical but i'm all about keeping it simple.
Great suggestions everyone - keep them coming!

I have 3 versions of Zoo Keeper that won't boot for some reason. I haven't taken the time to figure out why...

Not with three action buttons. ;)
-
moonwalker
-
Superman
X-Men
Guwange (I think it's called)
ESP Ra De
Warriors of Fate
Defender (You'll have to map some of the directions on your joystick for some of the buttons but I think it will work)
Rim Rockin Basketball
Knights of the Round
King of Dragons
Magic Sword
Dungeon Magic
Rush n' Attack
Alien v Predator
Tron (using two of the action buttons to simulate a spinner)
likewise, Discs of Tron
Star Wars
Armored Warriors
Carrier AIr WIng
Crater Raider (using two action buttons as a spinner)
Dangun Feveron (a MUST if you like shooters)
Growl
Ikari Warriors
Outzone
Mercs
But really, just deluxe search under MAWS for 3-buttons, 2-button, 1-buttons games...

I did that but the list is completely out of control. I'm trying to create something narrow with only games I'll actually play. Thanks for the games you listed though - I'm adding them to the cab tonight!

What no Space Harrier on the list??
To this day, I can't see the interest in this game. Outrun, yes. Afterburner....maybe. But Space Harrier is like the most boring version of the series.
Time Pilot II??
-
Yet another 'could go on forever' list!
Alien Storm, Aliens, anything at all mid-80's on JAMMA hardware......
-
What about Eagle?
That was a great game...
