I have a 20.1 inch LCD Sceptre monitor that for a couple a years worked perfectly. Then a few months ago I turn it on and about 5 seconds later it turns of. I repeat this about 10-15 times and eventually it stays on with no problems. Then yesterday I turn it on and it turns off in about a second. OK I think to myself just turn it on 10 - 15 more times and it should stay on. After about 30 times switching it on and seeing it turn off after a second I come to the realization that this damn LCD is not going to stay on again. I have checked around on possible causes for this problem but have come up with nothing. Warranty has long since run out on it. The thing that's upsetting is for the second that it stays on the picture is perfect , nice, bright and sharp then nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

If yopu ever get it back on again, let it stay on forever :banghead: oh......before you get it to turn on, just have plug in with a UPS first

if you have an external switch mode supply then change it,real common fault is the caps drying out in the psu
