Coin op arcade video game Battlezone for sale. This is for the parts only, I am keeping the cabinet for a Mame build. I will sell everything inside the cabinet, but will keep the header and front glass only.
Monitor is working as far as I can tell, a hard to find xy vector, stll has the green and red overlay. I think this monitor can be used in an Asteroids machine also. pcb boards, control panel is good, one controller is floppy but works, needs rubber grommet, power brick, ARII board, everything inside, Etc. I took it all out and is still connected from power supply to header light . I Would also trade for another arcade and could add some money to the trade if needed. In my garage for an easy move to your truck. I am 5 minutes from the airport off I-205, SR-14 , 192 Exit. Thanks, Steve

I nominate Frizz for kicking the ass.

He says he's willing to trade for a better MAME candidate.  Maybe one of our Canadian members in or near Vancouver can help him out and stop this atrocity.

If he was in Canada, he'd be dead by now.

I will check to see if any of the West coasties I know want to make a run for the border, just in case.

It's Vancouver, WA, which is right near Portland, OR, where I live. I guess I'll have to take care of this! ;)

He put it up recently saying he couldn't get it working and wanted to sell the whole thing. I guess he's changed his mind now.

If I had much interest in the game I might have bought it!

Good.

It'll be the most fun that cabinets seen in a long time. At least he's smart enough to sell off the parts.

Aren't there laws against this?

So that's a non-sight Battlezone. He says it's in his garage. Go look at it then return later.

I was lurking at MW and guess what I found. Prescience I guess because simply the title of the thread raised my hackles:

Guess who? (http://www.mameworld.info/ubbthreads/showthreaded.php?Cat=&Number=165674&page=0&view=expanded&sb=5&o=&fpart=1&vc=1)

This guy had a post earlier asking for a "power supply", or someone knowing where to find one. I called him since I live in Portland and offered to help him fix his board, test it, or at least try it out in another cabinet. I also mentioned (in the message I left) that I knew of an online source for a new supply.

He never called me back.

I guess he wasn't interested in repairing it after all - probably looking for an excuse to gut it.

I saw that one too. Seemed to me that he was interested in repairing it. Hmmmm. Ah well.
