Title: mame.ini volume control?

Hi,

I have rasied the speaker volume so that the jukebox section puts out a acceptable level of audio but now the games in mame puts out audio that is 2 loud, i have attempted to change the volume through the mame.ini but to no avail.

There is a program I wrote called Command Line Volume which you can download from the BYOAC Wiki Utilities page (http://wiki.arcadecontrols.com/wiki/Utilities) under the Audio Utilities.

If you run it before and after Mame and it will store/restore the volume each time.

Hi,

Just a Quick thanks i have downloaded it and will give it a try tomorrow.

Glad to see it on the Wiki, i did search it on how to change the MAME volume and got no where, was obviously searching for the wrong thing.

Also just to note that my program uses the PC's master volume to store and restore a volume.

If you want to simply change the volume in Mame use the "`" key (usually above the tab key) and it will show an OSD of the volume.
