Title: Can anyone point me in the direction of any good Windows 95 MAME resources?
Post by: slapaham on September 15, 2008, 07:12:27 pm
I've got a Windows 95 machine now that I want to make into a seemless arcade machine - has anyone got any good information/links that would help me?

I'm looking for all the usual info -

Windows Shells
Hiding Windows
Making it generally a seemless, fully functioning arcade machine really!!

I must admit, I'm a bit out of touch with Windows 95 now as I haven't used it for around 10 years!! Most information out there unsurprisingly is related to newer versions of Windows. If anyone could help out that would be great...

What are the specs of your machine?
If the hardware can handle it, you'd be better off loading win98 on it (or a low resource linux distro).
Check out spystyle's dos boot cd (http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=58809.0)?
