Title: Getting rid of clones..help!

Ok, I really like my HPTC for a front end I think...has the look that I want. Setting it up is a pain, but I am getting there. However, it seems to have problems with having so many roms, and I hate clones anyway. Is there a program or anything to pull clones out of the roms folder or something like that?

use a prog called sortinfo and download latest catver.ini.

Sort info can make a bat file that automatically copies or moves all clones if u want.Also get rid of majhong crap.

Just because I've nothing better to do, I've made you a bat file that will move all clones from your roms folder into c:\clones

Download this zip (its only 11kb):
http://mame.joymonkey.com/move-clones-070.zip (http://mame.joymonkey.com/move-clones-070.zip)
and extract it into your roms folder.
then run clones.bat and presto! All clones are removed from your roms folder.

you could also make a listinfo with parent roms.  In your mame.ini file set clones to 1.
