I am in the middle of my first build ( can be found here http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=84232.0 ) and I would like some suggestions so down the road I will not have to say I wish I had done that different. Below is a picture of my control panel and I want to make sure there are not any buttons I am leaving out. The cabinet will not have a spinner or trackball so any buttons dealing with them will not be needed. I am wanting to use the keyboard and mouse the least amount I have too too. So let me hear any suggestions you guys may have.

Looks like some nice cabinet work.
I say add the spinner and trackball. No need for more buttons - just plop 'em in there, trackball in the middle and the spinner right "above" (behind) it. Use the existing buttons - no need to add more.
I think once your cab is up and running and you bore of your 50 favorite games, you will wish you'd added trackball and spinner. :)

I have the same buttons as you but did add I think 2 other buttons (at least in my planning). I have a Pause button for sure and I'd have to go see what else I have in my mock up. Never know when Pause will be needed and doing it via shift key might take a split second too long...
