player 1 block stopped working today. I checked the wires, jamma harness, and replaced chery switch. There is no signal from the button when pressed. I do not know what to do. Please help.
-
what happens when you touch the block wire to the ground wire? I had a similar issue, the jamma pin was loose.
-
it's working again, i removed the jamma harness and wiggled the wire around and it works again. the machine is 16 yrs old so I guess i'll be patient with any small issues.

so this keeps on happening it works then stops in the middle of a round i'm frustated and not sure what to do.
I changed the cherry master switch, removed the jamma harness and cleaned it and it still screws up

Try cleaning the contacts on the PCB.

might be a loose wire connection where it connects to the jamma pin, you might need to repin that wire or at least take some solder and solder it up to the pin to make sure it has a good connection.

the jamma connector looks fine but in the process of cleaning and pushing pulling the pin broke, so now i need to repin the wire. Does home depot/ lowes carry this ? In the process of fiddle farting with this another pin broke loose in the jamma harness so now player 1 high kick does not work either. So now i need to put 2 new pins in there. Not a huge deal but I need to find the pins them selves. And I'm not even sure this is the issue either. But it's a hobby and there are always going to be hiccups so I'm not gonna get all flustered

is this what I need to repin the 2 wires inside the jamma harness ?

those connectors worked like a charm, i soldered them to the wires and put them in the back of the jamma harness. Works and looks like new !!!!!!!
