I saw a couple threads about MM delays back around May-July, so thought a positive post was called for. Submitted my order for a marquee with matching plexi early morning on Sep 4. Now on Sep 11, it's in my greedy little hands, much faster than expected.
Now being gated by a t-molding order surprisingly enough.

Considering what it says about the delay on their site, that is pretty fast. Maybe you got in just before they hit their slowdown.
-
My last 2 orders were pretty quick too. :)
-
well i certainly hope they're as fast with my work order i just submitted 30 minutes ago. i'm stationed in germany and my local printer is flaking out on me. everyone else around here wants an arm and a leg (and in euro, eek!)
looks like i have some thumb twiddling to do.

Yes shipping is very decent... it's just the plexiglass you got to watch out for. Twice it was cut to the wrong size for me....so instead of waiting for them to ship me the 3rd time cut, I made do with what I had.
Vinyl/graphics are great quality... I told Scott he really needs to work on his plexiglass cutting.. (I think his kid does it)>
Anyhow, I would order again from him..
Peace

Did you guys get the PREMIUM or ULTIMATE marquees? I got my first one (see attached) before there was an ULTIMATE. I will be ordering a new one for my second project, and I want to know if there is a significant difference if they wil be sandwiched between plexi anyway.

I contacted this company about doing work for me many weeks ago and never got a reply.

They lost my sale.

Try EMDKAY in my sig. He does great work. (Marquee and Control Panel overlays (non-adhesive), no sideart)

Scott is extremely busy since mamemarquees is his side job. If you place an order you will get a great product in typically 10 days or less. If you email him a list of questions or ask him to modify artwork or something that isn't related to a particular order I wouldn't expect a quick response. He isn't in the business of designing things. I find it best to have the artwork completely ready to go before contacting him to place the order. I've used him several times and I'm always happy with the service and the product.

Same here! Scott does another job full time as most of us on here do, so please appreciate that fact.
I know you may argue that the a customer should be a priority (Business Principles 101?) but it is more a case of understanding. In return he provides you with excellent customer service when he can and an excellent product!

Same Scott from Mameroom or no?

Different people, different companies.

Ok cool.

I remember him saying at one time that certain email domains either get spam blocked when sent to him or spam block his domain (don't remember which). So the lack of a reply is a red flag that a message didn't get through. He was always great at communicating quickly with me - I doubt he was ignoring you intentionally.
