Title: ON HOLD UAII Arcade Cabinet (empty) pick up only
Post by: Timoe on September 11, 2008, 08:49:30 am
The cabinet is now spoken for.  Thanks for all the interest.  I am happy it will go to a good home and get the use it deserves.

We have an empty Ultimate Arcade II cabinet that is available for pick up in Southern California.

It is empty and a little dusty but ready to go.

Includes:
Cabinet (empty)
Control Panel (empty)
TV monitor with Bezel
Speakers
Marquee Light
SmartStrip Power strip
Free dust

Thats a NICE cabinet.  I cant believe Timoe is giving this away.  It'd be like winning the freakin lottery to get this cab.

For details of the cabinet assembled, check this link:

I can only imagine Tim must have some really kick ass arcade in the works for this one to be going away.

I must have won the lottery, then.  It's sitting in my gameroom.

Is it yours now?  That was one of my first favorite cabinets when I was getting into the hobby.

I always thought those coin doors were super low.  Is that based on an actual game that a person would have seen at an arcade?

I agree with you 1000% on it. I took this off HaRuMaN's hands because I have a nephew that wants a 4 Player cab. I'm not a fan of the design, but it's not going to be for me.

I am thinking about building a TMNT-sized CP for this, and using the existing one as a canoe in my pool...  >:D

I can't believe you are maming a "classic".  :pitchfork:

good luck moving that thing.  I finally trashed mine after 2 moves.  Horrible design.

Now I have a Galaga bartop on the way from Haruman! ;D

Just think of it as him emulating a canoe.

I agree. HaRuMaN took the TV out before we loaded it, so moving it hasn't been that bad.

It's just so.... bulky. But I will give props to Timoe for his workmanship. It's pretty solid. I'm just glad the hobby has evolved.

That was the first arcade I had...so it served it's purpose.  I just don't have the room anymore.
