Title: Games with bezels onscreen

I am using mame .86 and roms. Most vertical games and some hor. games  (i.e. Williams games) have added graphics like bezels on the top or sides.

Is there any way to get rid of these? It really is screwing up my Jungle Hunt comp.!!!

Open mame.ini and set artwork to 0

no way... That was too damn simple.  I have been fighting with these stupid resolutions for weeks now and all I had to do was set artwork to zero?!?

That is the simple way. You could leave artwork on, and designate bezels 0, yet leave overlays and intructions on, but this is a fix-all, since you don't seem to care about any of that.

As well, if you're meaning native resolutions, the bezels of course affect that, so one small, seemingly innocent thing having a dramatic effect.
