Title: DIRECTx v.9 problems

Hey, I am trying to get shiftermame to work. My video card does not support DirectX v.9 so instead of buying a new video card is it possible to run a lower version of DirectX with ShifterMame or Mame? If so how does one do this? Or am I stuck buying a new video card??

May be by forcing to use DirectDraw in Mame.ini .

There is something like  ddraw 0  , put it to 1  .   Or may be D3D to 1 , put it to  0.

Your problem is trying to use version 0.9. Try using version 9.0 instead. ;) >:D
