Title: WoodRiver router bits
Post by: TAG on September 05, 2008, 04:29:58 pm
Woodcraft has a nice sale on 10 different WoodRiver 1/2" shank bits right now, but I can't find much out there about the quality.  I've generally used Whiteside bits, but I was thinking about picking up a couple of these just to have around.

Anyone have experience and/or thoughts?  Thanks!

Here's a favorable review (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=91186) and a couple of unfavorable ones. (http://newsgroups.derkeiler.com/Archive/Rec/rec.woodworking/2007-07/msg00553.html)

Woodcraft's prices appear higher than Holbren's (http://www.holbren.com) for the couple of Whiteside bits I checked.

Yes, I bought my Whiteside bits from routerbits.com.  Thanks for the links on the WoodRiver reviews!
