I'm thinking about picking up a working ur megatouch for a hundo. How different is this monitor from a regular touch screen? Would I need an arcadevga to output from the pc to the monitor?

They are just a standard vga monitor.
Some of which only do like 640x480 if it an older one.
They typically use a 3m Microtouch controller so you'll need the drivers for that as well for the touch to work.

I thought the lowest screen res they did is 800 x 600. Hmm i might have to think twice as i was going to pick one of these up.

I'm not positive on the resolutions possible..... just worth investigating each exact make and model before purchasing.
I've picked up older 19"'ers that would only do 640x480. Yet newer ones in the same type of machine would do higher resolutions.
Just worth double checking before investing in one for a particular project.

I had to consult Mr. Miyagi (Ken Layton) on this one. If you get anything before an "XL" series you need to get an arcagevga card or the like. XL or after can just hook it to your pc, download the drivers and partay.

Hmm i will really have to watch out what i get then, i was going to get one of these. Damn, it's hard getting off ebay without seeing it first.

This monitor would been suitable for my project, even its only a 640x480, since my jukebox software was designed to this resolution.
But since I have not a clue about these monitors, which Ebay links was it from? I do guess it too expensive to send to my little country yet.
