Title: GO5 vector in Asteriods 13" vs. 19"
Post by: ToplessZ on September 04, 2008, 06:55:31 pm
The 19" GO5 in my asteriods doesnt work.  Will a 13" Go5 vector monitor hook up to the connections in a 19" cab.  The guy I got my asteriods machine from has a 13" GO5 vector monitor that we tried to connect up to test the game board.  The connections hooked together perfectly but there was only half the picture that worked on the monitor.  Do you think that the monitor has some kind of X or Y failure? or its because this machine is somehow wired for a 19" GO5 monitor only?

Either the monitor has problems, or the game board.  Did the 13" fully work in the game it was in?

Well, all you know for sure now, is that your 19" monitor is at least half broken. :)

You need a known working board, or a known working monitor to be certain what the problem is.

Well Ive done some repaits to the 19" so I now have blurry dots floating all over the screen.  So I almost have it working.  SO Im betting the board is fine.  Just wanted to know if the 13" could directly swap the 19" picture wise, (I know the size wont fit in  my machine)
