My project is progressing nicely and I am starting to think about some artwork to go along with it. I want it to have a old school vibe but still look new and interesting. I decided to find some old sprites and render them in a 3D program. I used PovRay to do the rendering. I created a pixel then replicated, moved and colored it to create the images. It is just a start, but I wanted to get some thoughts and opinions. I invision the machine name (which I have not decided on yet) in 3D with many charaters around it. Not a new idea, just done in a new way.

Do you just want it as is, but in 1024 x 768? It's not even really laid out or centered. I just made each character, then moved them a little to make the next one. I am actually looking to make more. I am just trying to track down good sprite pictures to use as reference.

Ah ok if you are not finished then please continue :D .
I will wait for the final release. While it is not centered it looks clean. Not sure how it will look if you put alot of characters in it.

Really cool. :applaud:

Been fooling around with the the image. Added a few more characters and moved them around. Really need to few at full size to get the best image.
