Hi Everyone. I just bought a UMK3 machine and the picture on the screen is about an inch too high. The fighters legs or words are all scrunched up at the bottom. I have lifted up the control panel and twisted all of the knobs to no avail. I turned the V-shift as far right as possible, but the picture did not come down enough. the controls do work, just doesn't bring the picture low enough. It is a hantarex polo 25. I will post some pics. Let me know if you need any more. Thanks so much for your help.

You could have an issue with IC103 which is the vertical deflection chip on this monitors chassis. I would replace it and the electrolytic capacitors in the vertical section if adjusting the vertical position and size pots do not fix the problem.

Ok, I'll try a cap kit replacement this week. Just received it in themail today. Not really sure where the vertical deflection chip is??? any help would be appreciated, I'll let you know how the cap kit replacement goes.
thanks for your help!

there is vertical linearity pot on the polo1 chassis, maybe worth adjusting that before looking at caps
-
My MKII and my KI2 have a Polo 25" monitor , and they both have breakout boards separate from them for making those kinds of adjustments
-
vertical linearity is rv102 on the output of pin 10 tda1675,the other adjustments on the small upright board are keystone and pincushion
-
I stand corrected, my MKII and my KI2 have different breakout boards
-
I found the vertical linearity rv102 pot and it was already adjusted as far right as possible, so this did not bring the picture down at all. Any other suggestions before I attempt my 1st ever cap kit replacement :-\ !!
Thanks for anyones help, I def need it!
