Happy Labor Day!
Does anyone know of jukebox software that would allow me to remotely manage a song queue on another computer on a network - like for instance if I have a touch screen laptop, and want to manage a music queue on an htpc.

If you're using another PC, just run VNC. Way easier, IMO.

freebox supports networked terminals. I think that allows remote selection. I've never tried it though.

Yes it does... You can have a load of remote terminals with the master controlling the queue.

Thanks alot - I'll give freebox a shot.

hey guys, just wanted to drop back in and let future peoples know the solution i found for remote queuing. Squeeze Center by logitech, is an excellent piece of software, and best of all free.

You basically control all the remote queuing through your web browser - or locally, and it works like a charm. It was hard to find software that did this, and correctly. This software normally works with a hardware device, but it isn't necessary. I you want to use it in software play mode you will need to also install soft squeeze, which can be done through the interface, after you install the initial program.
Add this one to the list! Now I can use my touch screen tablet laptop to control music queue's on my htpc(or any other pc).
