The load time issue with freebox is because of the amount of images used in the default skin. I need to work with eist and squirrely to see if we could optimise the images some more without loosing too puch quality to improve the loading time. I can go from switch on to music in around a minute on my jukebox though. You might want to look at using a stripped down version of XP to improve the boot times on XP itself. Obviously the load times you are refering to are a specific freebox issue and I will see what i can do. Of course a skin with less images would greatly improve load times. Maybe I can make a LITE skin. Thanks for giving it a try anyway.

Barry-
I give mad props for your program. Yeah i should of stripped down XP, which i still plan on doing. I did run into that no-images in the skin folder, but other than that its a nice program

I leave my juke on all the time even though we probably only use it 3 or 4 times a week. It goes into standby mode or whatever after 24 hours. The monitor and hard drives spin down after a few hours.
I probably use more power putting new music on there and running the config than I do actually playing music. :dizzy:

Try the following link. It's a nice jukebox application. Still in its infancy design. Definitely a future with this application.
