i use Winamp (shoutcast radio) with an online ripper (for you can record the music that is streaming)

What I mean is those stand alone units that can be tuned in just like a regular radio.

Although I've only used someone else's and don't actually own the unit (yet?), I was pretty impressed by the performance to price ratio of the Grace Radio by Intellitouch.  If I decide to buy, I'll go with that unless something better and less expensive comes along in the meantime.
