Hello learned peers, I'm looking at updating the PC in my cab so I can run PSX and Dreamcast games as well as all the obvious Mame Classics. Obviously PSX and Dreamcast games require some form of Analogue stick. While I understand that 49 ways are not true analogues, do they work well enough with these emulators? And will my regular games of Robotron be affected at all (Current high score is 219000 ish)? Any feedback will be gratefully received.
Thanks in advance
P.S. Did anyone ever get me Billy Mitchells autograph? ;o)

You don't absolutely NEED analog sticks for that stuff. Most of the console games that are playable on a cab won't need 'em. However, I suggest the Ultimarc Ultrastik 360 if you feel you must. It's the most versatile analog, 4-way, 8-way, 2-way, whatever-way-you-want stick on the market.

Originally I had a 49-way with the GPWiz49 for digital restriction. As a standard 8/4/2 way stick it works fine. But as an analog, not so good. For example, don't even try playing Food Fight. I've since swapped out my 49 for a u360 which is a true analog stick with digital restriction.
