Title: American Poker II won't run in MAME

Is there an NVRAM or EEPROM trick that needs to be performed to get American Poker II to run in MAME?

All I get is INIT MACHINE and even if I use F3 to reset it jut returns to INIT MACHINE.

I tried to delete the NVRAM as well but it didn't help any.

Nevermind...

I found some info here on initializing the machine (INIT MACHINE)

Got it to run and the game did not match the screen shot that was being displayed...the game stinks.

The screen shot shows the standard looking Video Poker game you see in the casinos...American Poker II is not even close.

Sad day for me.

Its not MAME, but Hoyle makes a Video Poker and Slots game that does look pretty darn close to the casino poker and it works with touchscreens.

If you want draw poker just like in the casinos try the Players Edge games in Mame or AgeMame. At least that's the games we have in a lot of the Indian casinos around here.  :woot
