I read about this in one of our tabloids toady. Cant wait to see the 'evidence'.
Speaking of Georgia, I found this quite amusing:

What a dumbass for not stringing her along. Should have told her the tanks and soldiers were invisible ninja's.
-
Surely that was a joke post..

Hmmm, im sure "she" is a troll
-
So whats the deal with the bigfoot? I ran somewhere yesterday that the news conference was not very reveling.
-
Sounds like BS to me... They wouldn't disclose where the "body" was and the DNA results were inconclusive. I think one sample was untestable, one was human and the other was opossum.
Big load of crap. One of the guys was involved in another bigfoot hoax a few years back.
-
Those guys need to get a real hobby....
Hmmm, how about an arcade made from a dead bigfoot?
-
I love how there is just one crappy image as 'evidence'. What a crock...
-
So, erm... if they got human DNA off that thing... doesn't that mean they have a dead person in that freezer? Shouldn't that be news?
-

I understand that one of the guys was previously involved in a hoax? If that's the case, credibility is automatically gone IMO.
-
It is just a publicity stunt. Make note of the fact that the guys who found the dead body also run a "Big Foot Adventure" hike. They made a phony picture, and submitted generic blood samples. Now, they can tell all of their new conspiracy nut clients that 'big brother' lied about the dna samples to avoid scaring the public, and that they still have the dead body 'in a safe, secure location'.

"Who are we to say it's not real", said the FOX NEWS reporter. I guess reporting news means just repeating whatever the shills want you to.

What a bunch of retards. And conspiracy nuts wonder why the world laughs at them...
Also of note, I saw the alleged 'Cupacabra' footage too. IT'S A DOG PEOPLE!

P.T. Barnum is ALIVE!!!

Ha. A frozen gorilla suit. Idiots (both the perps and the fools who believed them).

Wonder how much those dudes got $$$$
-
The one dude is a cop and looks like he may lose his job over this. Since at least one of these guys seemed to want to be taken seriously and make a living out of this, I can't imagine WTF they were thinking to pull off such a crappy hoax. There isn't much credibility in the area of research they're in, and they've damaged it even further.
I don't believe there is a Bigfoot, but the notion that something mysterious like that is out there is kind of cool.
-

This is EXACTLY right. This whole incident is really a demonstration of just how bad it's gotten.
Our corporate owned media establishments have no interest in journalism; merely ratings. Our local Fox branch ran the "Bigfoot" story, after first talking it up throughout the day, then showing that single, stupid-looking photo and saying, "Well, what do YOU think it is? Is Bigfoot real?"
I was like, "Hey A-hole...I don't know. I work for living and I don't have entire teams of potential investigative reporters, and the funding of a giant corporate entity, at my fingertips. How 'bout YOU send someone out to examine the thing, then you REPORT what you FIND!?"
Not to pull this into PnR', but damn...this penchant for "We Pontificate, You decide!" has destroyed our fourth estate, and it doesn't serve the public. It's pablum...and they do it for just about everything.

Word, Mr Curm.
Anyone not understanding why they did this, just check out the huge spike in traffic their site got:

I think we all saw this coming, but I'm with Mr. C. There's no such thing as news anymore, it's all just sensationalism.
