Title: Coin mechs and joys FS: Good bad and ugly
Post by: kayoteq on August 15, 2008, 11:12:17 am
Mostly ugly. All prices are plus shipping.
Updated: Figured I might as well just remove the old stuff that's sold.

Regular width coin doors/surround: $10 apiece

Over/under coin doors:$10 each  (door/mechs only- all the full ones have been sold )
do note that several of these do not have a proper harness connector on the wires. Ask..

Coin mech inserts: $3 each- just a few left from each row- specify the type you need-
I think they all fit universally, but reality is some fit better than others.

All the light gun things have been sold and decimating virtual villains nationwide.

Joysticks, varied condition: $4 each for ones with sticks, $2 each for ones without, a couple of shafts still left @ $2 each)
(see later posting for the 'new method' of designating your favorite parts)

Joysticks, Williiams Opti (?? way) Make offer.
90% sure this thing is from a Bubbles- Light blue, 8 way optical (NOT Sinistar/Blaster type)

Early birds get the better of the bunch. I will update the pictures with a dot on sold items.
All shipping is at estimated cost prior to actual post office weighing.

Looking for LS-32s or similar short-depth joysticks , centipede art
(cpo,  marquee, buttons) or empty Atari panel (Asteroids deluxe, centipede... the ones that fit similar cabinets)

Oh, and some PCBs to sell.
Jamma:
Ikari Warriors 2 :$20, working (needs rotary joysticks)
Capcom 'BM' on roms- Battle of Midway?- not working- two boards+ interconnect cable, fully populated- make offer

*revised for ongoing sales/trades, new, more logical method of choosing parts.

I do want to thank everyone for helping me get some room back in the house- which was immediately taken up by the new Gravitar the sales paid for.

Well, that was a big fail on the parts organization. I have now physically tagged the parts, and made a new grid.
You'll need to re-confirm your choices by looking at the new pictures and sending me your secret decoder codes;
A3, JB2, etcetera. Blue dots indicate ones spoken for.

My apologies for the confusion, but I want to make sure everyone gets exactly what they are asking for.

Some confusion over the black ball tops and a odd part in the parts box, so I retook a closeup:

does anyone know if the coin mechanisms are pretty standard, and if the ones this guy is selling will fit in this Happ Coin door system? http://www.happcontrols.com/coindoors/40300000.htm

They all pretty much look the same to me.

Thanks.. it kinda looked like some weird game anyway, thought I'd complete the illusion. All my mechs as far as I can tell are set up for quarters, but there's some articles on here on setting mechs up to accept tokens. Haven't done that myself, but I did get me some tokens in order to try the adjustment trick.

Tennessee.. heh, I'd never filled that part out on my profile.. But I'll ship anywhere as long as you don't mind enriching the shipping companies.
