Title: Wiring my first JAMMA harness and have a question........
Post by: pharoah007 on August 13, 2008, 10:39:01 am
so the bottom 3 terminals in the pic are for the monitor as I understand it.

so the Ground wires on the JAMMA harness go to the COM on the power supply?  and if so, which COM as there are 2 of them?
Here is a pic of the PS in question..

1. Yes, GND goes to COM.

2. Pick one.

I'd use a multimeter to check that they are the same, but I imagine they are.

thanks man. so can I wire ALL of the grounds on the JAMMA harness to 1 of the ground terminals?

or should I wire all the grounds on the JAMMA harness to the 2 ground terminals (1/2 to 1 and 1/2 to another)?

Usually, you just wire up the 4 Ground next to the power pins on a Jamma connector to the Power Supply.  Depending how what I had available, I'd wire it up using 1 terminal or both terminals.

Read this to learn about the other grounds:
