Title: Donkey Kong Instruction Card
Post by: Paul Olson on August 12, 2008, 04:24:05 pm: I pieced this together from what is available online. Please look at it and let me know if there are any problems. It looks like the one on my DK, but the colors on mine are washed out. Do the colors look accurate?

I did a test print on epson premium photo paper and it looks really nice. I am going to look for sticker paper later to test that.

Hopefully we can get an accurate version of this card. I just copied and pasted in Irfanview, but I think it turned out pretty good.

Post by: CrazyKongFan on September 16, 2008, 06:41:31 am: I don't know about an upright, but on a cocktail, the instruction card has a border around it, and above the "Save the Lady from Donkey Kong", there's a picture of the lady, DK and Jumpman.

This one looks like just like the upright version on mine, but I can't verify the colors since mine is washed out. I Printed this out on glossy photo paper with my inkjet, and it looks great. If anyone can compare the colors to the original, I would appreciate it. If the colors are right, this is an easy fix for an old CP. I think I will order the sticker because it will probably hold up better than a printout, but for this card under the CP, the printout works fine.

The copyright on my DK looks like the one on this pic instead of the one on his. Also on mine the hammer head is not brown. The lettering on mine is almost completely washed out, so I can't tell if the lettering is the right color.
