is the top of the arcade glass/plexi suppose to sit behind the speaker panel or in front of it.. i tried looking at some pictures of peoples cabinets but its hard to tell.

What do you REALLY think ? :laugh2:
I would have it make music for the display, not for the player!

Cabs are all different, but by far the most common set up is to have the speakers in front of the glass, both in Arcade cabinets and MAME cabinets. Where that is on the speaker panel is a different question though. Some route a line straight across the bottom of the panel so that the glass can rest inside. Others put the glass behind the panel and place something else behind that to hold it in place. The one consistency though (at least as far as I've seen) is that the speakers are always always always in front of the glass.

lol i diddnt mean enclose the speakers behind the plexi, i was talking about the back of the speaker panel.. lol

Ok then.
Go for minimal dirt collection first I would say. Second make it in a way that beer does not get to the electronics. And keep removing the glass/plexi possible.

the only problem i have right now is i made the speaker panel pretty long, i guess iam gonna have to figure out how to measure it out to cut it correctly.

does the bezel sit in back of the speaker panel as well?
